Mats Ahrenshop, MPhil student at the Department of Politics and International Relations, University of Oxford, and affiliated graduate student of CESS, is attending the Sixth Annual Toronto Political Behaviour Workshop where he will do a poster presentation on 21 September 2018. He will present his paper: “Cost, Credibility, and Relative Salience: Experimental Evidence on Corruption Voting”.
Mats is developing a formal model to explain persistent corruption voting under optimal informational conditions, and test propositions of this model against experimental data from a standard survey experiment and a conjoint experiment.
