The Centre for Experimental Social Sciences hosted an experimental programming workshop taught by affiliated D. Phil student, Jonas Frey, on 8th-9th of October. Students and faculty came from various departments and universities to attend a complimentary crash course in Python programming and its specific application to oTree, a software designed primarily for the creation of online social science experiments. Attendees spent the first day learning the basics of Python programming and the second day seeing how their newly developed skills could be applied to programming their own experiments. We look forward to working with the attendees to run their newly programmed experiments at CESS!
